Annual Rural Health Care Symposium

On March 12, 2009, CANA participated as a Silver Sponsor in the California Hospital Association’s Annual Rural Health Care Symposium at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. Karyn Karp served as CANA contact and local representative, providing testimony at the quarterly meeting of the California Rural Health Policy Council regarding the numerous benefits CRNAs provide to rural health care facilities. Ms. Karp also staffed the exhibit booth where CANA joined twelve other Silver Sponsors, one Platinum Sponsor and 18 additional exhibitors during CHA's evening reception. CANA received special recognition at the CHA Rural Health Care luncheon as a leader in shaping the future of health care delivery to the citizens of California.
