Peer Assistance

Our committee is dedicated to assist the membership by providing information, resources and assistance with issues surrounding chemical dependency in the CRNA profession. We provide educational assistance to schools and departments of anesthesia and other interested groups in California. We hold 12-step meetings at each CANA meeting, usually on Saturday after the board meeting. These meetings are open meetings so it is not necessary to be recovering to attend. We welcome any opportunity to educate our members or their families and coworkers about the nature of addiction and ways to help those who might be addicted.
